Thanks to community
Due to the efforts of Greg, Krissi, and Jake Nave, Heather Sanford, Jessica Snitford, Kellie Rowe, Liz Johnson, Courtney Rieger, Kelly Daly, Chelsea Buff and Lauren Bailey, the May 31st food drive at Kroger for Outreach East was our most successful ever!

A record setting cash donation amount of $1,024 was raised and the response to the requested items of tuna helper, cereal, grape jelly, spaghetti, diapers and dish soap was fantastic!

With an increased number of people coming in for assistance, food drives give our pantry much needed boosts to continue feeding area families.

Thanks for benefit show a success
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make our benefit car, truck and motorcycle show, held on June 22, for Ivan Richardson a great success. The area businesses were so generous in donating cash, prizes and services. The response was overwhelming.

A very special thanks to all the participants who brought their fine vehicles, several traveling from many miles to attend.

Last, but certainly not least, thank the Good Lord, for giving us a perfect day, one that Ivan and his family, and all his special friends will never forget. Thanks so much. — Ivan Richardson Show Committee

Good Samaritans in Davison!
On April 3, I fell while riding my bike in the parking lot of St. John’s activity center, dislocating my foot and breaking three bones.

I would like to thank the gentleman in the red car that was first to stop and call 911, also the man that called my husband, the man that gave me a towel for under my head, the lady that covered me with her coat and the registered nurse working on St. John’s rummage sale for bringing out an umbrella in case it rained.

I appreciate each and every one as they stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. Thank you. — Becky Jimenez, Davison
