DAVISON TWP. — Davison Township police are investigating a one-vehicle crash at about 2:50 p.m. June 19 on I-69 and Irish Road.
Police said the vehicle was driven by a 24-year-old Davison woman traveling westbound on I-69 when she lost control of her vehicle as it crossed over the median, rolling over into the eastbound lanes. The crash caused a several mile backup in each direction of I-69 for more than two hours.
Both the driver and a 37-year-old Flint woman were injured in the crash and taken to Hurley Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Alcohol was determined to not be a factor. The crash is being investigated by the Davison Area Reconstruction Team. Police are asking for anyone witnessing the accident to call 810-653-5656. — Monica Dufour
