DCER offers summer activities

DAVISON — Davison Community Enrichment and Recreation, 1250 N. Oak Rd., offers a variety of summer activities for the month.

The organization offers boater’s safety classes on July 8 and 10 at Davison High School. Classes run from 6-8 p.m. and cost $15. Taking place July 23 at Cardinal Stadium is the Davison Fireworks Show 2008. Festivities begin at 5 p.m.

Also on July 23 at the Davison Richfield Fire Department, 403 S. Main St., is an ice cream social. It begins at 5 p.m. and should last until 7:30 p.m. The cost is $2.

The organization also will hold the 22nd annual Art In The Park event on July 26 and July 27 in the Jack N. Abernathy Regional Park. The Art In The Park event will run from 9-5 p.m. on July 26 and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. July 27.
