Mechanical problem temporarily closes Polar Palace
LAPEER — A fault in the refrigeration equipment has forced the temporary closing of the Polar Palace Arena Complex.

County long range transportation plan meeting
FLINT — The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission will hold a non-motorized and complete streets policy charette 2-4 p.m. July 10.
The meeting will help craft the policy recommendations for Genesee County, as part of the Genesee County 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan. The plan guides transportation decision-making for the future of the county.
