Vehicle crash
DAVISON TWP. — Police responded to a single-car rollover accident at about 5:37 p.m June 25.
Police say the vehicle was traveling west when the driver lost control, ran off the road and rolled over. In the vehicle were the driver, Petra Magnes, 18, of Bloomfield Hills, and passenger Adelia Reiff, 17, from Washington, Mich. Davison-Richfield Area Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extricate the two from the vehicle. Both women suffered serious injuries and were transported to Hurley Medical Center.
Alcohol was not a factor in the accident, but speed was. The crash is still under investigation by the Davison Area Reconstruction team.
Destruction to birdfeeder
DAVISON TWP. — Police were called to Meadow Wood Drive June 22 to investigate a report of malicious destruction of property. Damage was done to a bird feeder and solar lights. There are no suspects.
Stolen stereo
DAVISON TWP. — Police were called to Windsor Place Apartments June 23 to investigate the theft of a stereo from a motor vehicle. There are no suspects.
Credit card fraud
DAVISON — City police were called to N. Genesee St. June 23 to investigate a report of credit card fraud. There are no suspects at this time.
