Ryan K. Carpenter

Ryan K. Carpenter, 27, of Burton died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. Funeral Liturgy was at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Father Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

Mr. Carpenter was born in Flint on Jan. 31, 1981. On Nov. 28, 2006, he married Danielle Schlegelmilch in Las Vegas. He loved weightlifting, hanging out and playing video games with friends, making Danielle smile and being with their friends.

He worked for Global Link Network for the past two and a half years and was a member of Supply Chain Management.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Morningstar and Burt (Aileene) Carpenter.

Survivors include: wife, Danielle of Davison; parents, John (Paulette) Carpenter Sr. of Davison; brother, John Carpenter Jr. of Grand Blanc; sisters, Amy Barnard of Davison, Kelley Coad, Karry Watson and Kathy McClellan, all of Florida; several nieces and nephews; mother and father-in-law, Paul (Debbie) Schlegelmilch of Davison; brother-in-law, Joshua (Stephanie) Schlegelmilch of Davison; and grandfather, Jim Durham of Clio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
