Robert J. Shaw, 78, of Estate Court Elkhorn, WI, died on Thursday July 10, 2008 at his residence. He was born on February 26, 1930 in Marquette, MI. The son of Orval and Susan (Thibodeau) Shaw. Robert graduated with the Class of 1948 from Davison High School Davison, MI. He served as a paratrooper with the US Army from 1949 until 1952. In 1953 at Milwaukee, WI he married Gloria Frey. Then in 1966 in Milwaukee, WI he married Margaret “Peggy” Resch. Peggy died in 1992. Then on October 9, 1993 in Davison, MI he married Betty McGill.
Robert was employed for over 25 years with Evinrude Motors of Milwaukee, WI retiring in 1982. He was president of Ranfield Inc. and general partner of Shaw Family Partners LLC. He owned and operated Land-o-Lakes of Elkhorn, WI, Oak Park Estates of Grandville, IL, Scenic Ridge Camp Ground of Whitewater, WI and Lake Juliana Park of Auburndale, FL.
Robert is survived by his wife, Betty; 12 children, Margaret (Jon) Shaw of Elkhorn, WI, Michelle (Thomas) Haeft of Whitewater, WI, Julie (Keith) Michaels of Whitewater, WI, Michael (John) Shaw of Auburndale, FL, Patricia Quesnell of Elkhorn, WI, Susan (Ken) Noffke of Mequon, WI, David (Linda) Shaw of Granville, IL, Ginger (Thomas) Karaway of Kenosha, WI, James (Joanne) Ferguson of Greenfield, WI, Debra (Dan) Fabishak of Greenfield, WI, Carol (Ron Burke) McGill of Hammondsport, NY and Susan McGill of Flint, MI; 1 sister, Jeanette (Darryl) Bebo of Kenosha, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; and a son, Thomas.

Funeral Services were held on Monday July 14, 2008 at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church. Rev. Gerald Petersen officiated. Burial was in Hazel Ridge Cemetery Elkhorn, WI.
