Irene B. Palawski

Irene B. Palawski, 86, of Davison, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Monday, March 24 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and noon-8 p.m. Saturday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. On Monday, there will be visitation at the church from one hour prior to the Mass.

Mrs. Palawski was born in Bay City on May 15, 1921. On Oct. 1, 1955, Irene Swiecicki married John M. Palawski, who preceded her in death in 1984. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Survivors include: children, Barbara (Dennis) Murawski, Mary (Vince) Sullivan and Paul (Rosemary) Palawski; grandchildren, Tony (Maggie), Todd (Kim) and Kyle Murawski, Kati and Gregory Palawski and Danielle Sullivan; six great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Swiecicki and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
