OUR LETTERS POLICY:
Letters must arrive no later than noon Monday to be considered for Wednesday's paper.
We reserve the right to edit for brevity and clarity. We discourage copies of letters sent to other publications, and we reserve the right to limit the number of letters from any one person or on any one topic. We will not publish anonymous letters, though we may withhold names on written request in special circumstances.
All letters must include the writer's name, address and daytime phone number.

--In person at: 220 N. Main St. in downtown Davison.
SPECIAL POLICY FOR ELECTION-RELATED LETTERS:
During an election season, The Davison Index will not allow Letters To The Editor with new opinion information the week immediately prior to the election.
WHY IT’S CALLED THE ‘OPINION’ PAGE:
Individual columns and Letters To The Editor contain the opinions of the writers, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the management or staff of The Davison Index.
"Editorials" represent the official position of the management of The Davison Index.
