Red Cross announces blood drives

GENESEE COUNTY — The American Red Cross announces the list of upcoming blood drives in Genesee County. As an added bonus for donating blood through September, the Red Cross will enter all donors into a sweepstakes to win tickets to one of several NASCAR events or a $500 gas card.

Following is a list of blood drives:

• July 3 — American Red Cross, 1401 S. Grand Traverse St., Flint, 9 a.m.- 2:45 p.m.

• July 3 — Flint All Media Blood Drive at Courtland Center Mall, 4190 E. Court St., Burton, 9 a.m.-2:45 p.m.

• July 7 — American Red Cross, 1401 S. Grand Traverse St., Flint, noon-5:45 p.m.

• July 9 — American Red Cross, 1401 S. Grand Traverse St., Flint, noon-5:45 p.m.

• July 9 — Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton., noon-5:45 p.m.

• July 10 — Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint St., Davison, 1-6:45 p.m.

To donate, blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health.
