VNSM grief support groups
DAVISON — The Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan’s hospice program provides an ongoing grief support group called New Tomorrows for those who have lost a loved one.
The group is open to residents of Genesee County and is free of charge.

New worship service at Davison United Methodist

BBBS Amachi festival
FLINT — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint in partnership with the Concerned Pastors for Social Action will host the 5th Annual Amachi awareness and recruitment event at Peace Presbyterian Church, 1521 N. Elms Rd. Sept. 13.
The Amachi Promise Festival will feature keynote speaker Pastor Paul Karlberg of Proclamation Presbyterian Church. A choir comprised of mentors and mentees and testimonials by volunteers and their Little Brothers and Little Sisters will also perform. The event runs 9-11a.m. There is no charge to attend.
