DAVISON — Decorated concrete pigs, snails, turtles and frogs are up for auction to benefit area youth.
Online bidding is open now through 4 p.m. May 12 for Bridges to the Future’s “Concrete Critter Auction.” The concrete critters are on display in stores throughout Courtland Center mall.
Last year, the first “Ducktion” duck auction raised more than $1,000 for the group’s Youth Advisory Councils fund. This fund supports the three components of YACs: leadership, empowerment and asset building through community service and service projects.
This year’s auction is expanding its critter base to include pigs, snails, turtles and frogs. Bridges students throughout Genesee County, as well as several local agencies and companies, have joined in on the decorating fun.
