Suzy Smith of Bradenton Beach, Fla. and Arnie Wells of Flint announce the engagement of their daughter, Shandi Kay Smith, to Kevin Joseph Austin, son of Sandy Austin of Clio.

The elected bride is a 2001 graduate of Davison High School and is employed as a stay at home mom for their two children.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Davison Alterative High School and is employed as a supervisor for Natural Stone in Palmetto, Fla.
